Make The Switch Ad Campaign

Once Christian was promoted to Station Graphics Producer, the job of creating all of KMTV’s print design was added to his regular duties creating on-air graphics. Far from being intimidated by the added workload, Christian was ecstatic to be able to work with print again. Christian also looked forward to working closely with the promotions manager and the sales department in developing and creating new projects.
This series of ads was created to compliment an on-air campaign urging viewers to “Make The Switch” to KM3. KMTV was at the time, perennially third place in ratings for news despite having a superb product and a new facelift. The ads then showcased the new look of the broadcast, the new mission statement, and each individual ad detailed various reasons different viewers had for making the switch to KM3 News. It was a nice campaign that put a human face on the new direction the station was headed.
