Action 3 News Horizontal Logo Animation
In 2002 Christian ventured farther into the realm of video graphics when the station purchased a license for Discreet’s 3DS Max. While Christian continued to make still video graphics, he now also had the means to create 3D graphics and animations.
This logo animation was created to be placed over video for a 30 second spot promoting the Action 3 News weather brand. To that end, Christian created his most complex animation to date. Aside from just creating 3D objects that simply moved through space, Christian actually disassembled certain 3D objects, brought them back together, and even added a nice little lens flare. The result was eye-catching to say the least. For a 2 second animation, this one definitely has a lot going on.
