2004 Habitat For Humanity Poster

For several years KMTV has produced hour-long specials with Habitat For Humanity to help showcase their work in the community. Through partnerships with other corporate sponsors, posters were created and displayed in local businesses. The design of these posters, naturally fell to Christian.

Like almost every project done at a TV station, this project was done on a shoestring budget and in an extremely short amount of time. With no money for stock images, Christian had to rely on a low resolution digital photo provided by Habitat. Since he liked the composition of the photo, and had little choice but to use it, Christian used Photoshop to create a highly stylized image from the original photo. Christian then created a poster around the image which obviously pays homage to old Soviet propaganda posters. Everyone involved was happy with the results, including Christian, who still has a copy hanging in his office to this day.
