Christian believes that good design can exist in all forms of visual communication. To that end he has tried his hand in various media, including print, video, and animation. Video & Animation
When Christian was the sole graphics operator for 3 newscasts at KMTV, it was not uncommon for him to create upwards of 60 graphics a day. Since most graphics would only remain on screen for a few seconds, it taught Christian to condense complex ideas into simple visuals. Upon being promoted to Station Graphics Producer at KMTV, Christian became responsible for producing print materials for both the Promotions and Sales departments, as well as internal signage and poster campaigns. Collected here are some of Christian’s favorite print pieces produced for the station.
Identity
KMTV changed ownership and “look” twice during Christian’s tenure at the station. Each time Christian was given the task of creating identity systems to reflect those changes. Later, during his time with Sergeant’s, Christian was given the task of updating the branding for three different lines of pet products. From stationery to vehicle graphics to logos, Christian has done it all, and you can see that for yourself by clicking the thumbnails below.
